Getting Started with Qwairy: Onboarding Guide

Welcome to Qwairy — your strategic tool to monitor and improve how your brand is represented in AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Overview AI.
1

1. 🔓 Accessing Your Qwairy Dashboard

After logging in to Qwairy.co, the first thing you’ll see is your dashboard — the central hub where you manage your brands, monitor performance, and uncover insights. From here, click on “+ Add a brand” to begin.Add A Brand On Qwairy Pn
2

Create and Configure Your Brand

To get started, create a new brand profile by:
  • Providing the official website
Add Your Brand On Qwairy PnQwairy will use this information to analyze your brand and provide a description of your brand.
We always recommand to proofread your brand description to make sure all information are accurate.
After that the next step is:
  • Selecting your preferred languages and target regions (e.g., English + United States)
On Qwairy, one brand = 1 country. If you want to follow a brand in multiple countries and languages you should simply add an other brand.
3

🥇 Discover Your Competitors

Qwairy will then generate a list of direct competitors based on your industry and market.
For example, if you’ve added Volkswagen, Qwairy may suggest:
  • Toyota
  • Ford
  • Honda
Competitor Qwairy Onboarding PnYou can:
  • Add or remove competitors manually
If one of your competitor is not in the list, don’t worry! Qwairy will still detect it if it appears in any of the answer that we generate.
4

Select Your Keywords (Topics)

Once you’ve entered your brand and website, Qwairy automatically suggests a list of relevant keywords that represent topics or themes associated with your brand. These aren’t just SEO-style keywords — they reflect semantic concepts that AI models associate with your brand.

🔎 What are Keywords (Topics)?

Keywords or Topics represent the main areas where you want your brand to be known or discovered. They could relate to your products, industry, geography, or even values. For example, if your brand is Volkswagen, Qwairy might suggest:
  • Electric vehicles
  • Sustainable mobility
  • Family SUVs
Keywords Topics Qwairy PnYou can:
  • Keep or remove suggested topics
  • Add custom topics that are important to your brand strategy
  • Use this step to define your strategic footprint within LLM ecosystems
🧠 These topics are the basis for all future analysis — so think about what you want your brand to own in AI conversations.
Please note that you can add a keyword (topic) at any time on the Qwairy dashboard. We select some keywords for the purpose of onboarding only here.
5

Generate and Select Queries

Once your topics are selected, Qwairy generates a set of AI-style natural language queries related to each topic. These are the kinds of questions that real users might ask ChatGPT or Perplexity — and the kind of prompts that determine whether your brand shows up.

🤖 Example queries (for “electric vehicles”):

  • “What are the best electric car brands in the US?”
  • “Is Volkswagen a good choice for an EV?”
  • “Who leads the market in sustainable transportation?”
Queries Onboarding Qwairy Most Advanced Geo Tools PnQwairy allows you to:
  • Review and customize the list of generated queries
  • Add your own queries if you have specific questions you want to test
  • Choose the most relevant ones for your market and objectives
Each selected query becomes a visibility checkpoint: Qwairy will track if your brand appears in responses and if your website is cited as a source.

⚖️ Why separating topics and queries matters

  • Topics help you define your positioning in AI-generated search
  • Queries help you measure your visibility on that positioning
This two-step process gives you full control:
  1. What do you want to be known for?
  2. Are you actually showing up when people ask about those things?
Again please not that you can add new queries at any time on the Qwairy dashboard 😉
6

Configure Monitoring - Choose the AI Models to Monitor

Once your queries are ready, Qwairy lets you select which AI models (LLMs) will be used to simulate real-world user prompts and track your brand’s visibility. These include leading models like:
ModelProviderCredit CostWeb Search
GPT-4o MiniOpenAI3 credits per query
Claude 3 SonnetAnthropic2 credits per query
Gemini 2.0 FlashGoogle3 credits per query
SonarPerplexity AI1 credit per query
AI OverviewAI Overview2 credits per query
Models with web search simulate real-time results more accurately.Choose Your Model Qwairy PnConfigure how often Qwairy should refresh the answers to your brand queries:
  • No Monitoring – You trigger analysis manually
  • Daily, Weekly, or Monthly – Auto-refresh at regular intervals
  • Combine with Auto-generate Answers for faster insights
You can see your next analysis date and credit usage forecast in the Analysis Schedule section.
Pro tip: We recommend to setup weekly monitoring.

⚙️ Auto-generate Answers

Toggle this on to let Qwairy immediately generate answers when new queries are added, instead of waiting for the next scheduled monitoring. This is useful for:
  • Quickly validating your setup
  • Saving time during onboarding
Just keep in mind: each immediate generation also consumes credits.

💳 Important: Monitoring Uses Credits

⚠️ Every time Qwairy sends your queries to a model — whether manually or via automatic monitoring — credits are consumed.
For example if you select:
  • 10 queries
  • 3 models: GPT-4o Mini (3 credits per refresh), Claude 3 Sonnet (2 credits), and Sonar (1 credit)
Total credits per refresh =
10 queries × (3 + 2 + 1) credits = 10 × 6 = 60 credits
  • If monitoring is scheduled weekly, this cost repeats every week
This allows for highly realistic monitoring, but it’s important to plan your model selection and refresh frequency based on your available credit balance.
